Nagaimo (Chinese yam) recipes were born from the ideas to further enjoy Nagaimo, a local produce in Higashimokoto. Finely sliced Nagaimo is used for pickles, or it’s tossed with plum or kimchi. Grated Nagaimo goes perfectly with soba, udon, ramen, or spaghetti. Many delicious dishes such as Nagaimo omelets and Nagaimo curry have been created thanks to the local produce.
